The Red Birch is a very unique floor. Because it uses the heartwood of Yellow Birch, there are limited grades, but those few offer sheer beauty. The wood is typically straight-grained with a fine uniform texture and occasional curly grain flourishes or wavy figuring. It is a heavy, hard and very durable floor.
