The No. 039 is a 4″ wide spreader for spreading base adhesive across the back of 6″ wide vinyl or rubber cove base. The 1/8” x 1/8” V-shaped notches are typically the correct size notch for spreading this adhesive (check manufacturer’s recommendations). The blade is made from brushed spring steel that has the right amount of flex for spreading adhesive. Blade is riveted to a wide contoured plastic handle. Net weight: 3 oz.
